How Peakshor verifies every host on the platform

Every host on Peakshor goes through a verification step before their first listing goes live, and the badge you see on a host's profile is a claim we can actually stand behind — not a default every account gets.

What verification checks

  • The operator's identity and business details, confirmed before onboarding.
  • That the host is the one actually running the activity, not reselling someone else's trip.
  • Contact details that work — the email and phone on a host's profile are real ones, checked at onboarding.

What it doesn't claim

Verification isn't a safety audit of a specific trek route, and it isn't a guarantee of trip quality — that's what a host's rating and reviews are for, built up trip by trip from people who actually went. We're honest about that distinction: a new host with no reviews yet is verified, but "new" is still worth knowing before you book.

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay regardless of how established a host is, and every listing's dates, inclusions and cancellation terms are set per host — not a platform-wide default, because a rafting trip and a Himalayan trek genuinely need different terms. Read the specific listing, and if anything about a host's answers doesn't add up before you book, that's worth writing to us about directly.

Read enough — ready to actually go?
